Can I sign a lease for just the spring semester?

Yes. Spring leases at University Heights run from January 1 to July 31, 2027. You sign directly with University Heights, so it's a real lease, not a sublease from another student.

When does a spring lease start and end?

Spring leases start January 1, 2027 and end July 31, 2027. If you need to move in before January, ask our leasing team about immediate move-ins.

How much is rent on a spring lease?

Spring rent is typically the same per-bedroom rate as our standard lease. Prices vary from home to home, and current specials apply to spring leases too. Current open spots and rents are listed in Open homes on this page.

Is a spring lease an individual lease?

Yes. Every bedroom at University Heights has its own individual lease, so you're only responsible for your own rent, and roommate matching is available.

Can I stay at University Heights for the 2027–28 school year?

Yes. Spring residents can renew their lease for the fall 2027 leasing season, so you can stay put instead of moving again in August.

Are spring lease homes furnished?

Homes at University Heights are leased unfurnished, so you can bring your own furniture and make your room your own.

Can I take the bus to campus?

Yes. University Heights is 2.8 miles from Texas A&M and has its own stop on the Texas A&M bus route (Route 41, Good Bull).

Are pets allowed?

Yes, pets are welcome at University Heights.
